For nearly 50 years, WP Theater has remained focused on putting Women+ artists center stage, and that mission has never been more important. Despite constant change and industry-wide uncertainty, in the past year, WP has proudly:

– Produced two world premieres and the five plays of the Pipeline Festival on our Mainstage.

– Continued our dedication to new works and new artists with the 15 writers, directors, and producers of our celebrated two-year Lab residency.

– Focused on access and equity through our continued sponsorship of the WP Space Program, which is in its second year of residencies featuring productions from Wolfsmouth Players and ThisThistle Media.

– Employed more than 35 artists during our 2023 – 2024 season, and added two new positions to our staff, with an updated roster of nine administrators who are making the work happen behind the scenes.

– Implemented a new pay-what-you-can ticket model, providing affordable tickets for any seat in the house with no additional fees!

FAQs

Q: So if I donate at the $500 level or above, I get benefits?

Yup! WP donors at the $500+ level enjoy a host of benefits as outlined above. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting Women+ artists and their work!

Q: What does “priority access” mean?

The priority access period takes place about two weeks before the public on-sale date for each production. $500+ donors who receive priority access as a benefit will be notified via email in advance.

Q: What seats do I have access to?

WP gives priority for the best seats in the house to donors, so when you donate at the 500+ level, you have access to the best available locations.

Q: Do I get VIP Invites?

Donors at the $1,000-$2499 level are invited to be our guests at one VIP Night performance of one of our Mainstage shows. Donors at the $2500 level and above are invited to all X VIP Night performances at each of our X Mainstage shows. The VIP performance date for each production is set and shared at the start of each season.

Q: I’m a donor, but I want to attend with a friend who is not. Can I purchase additional tickets during the priority access window?

Yes! You can purchase as many tickets as you like during or after the donor priority access window – and never have to pay a service fee!
