Andrea Haenggi

(Choreographer) New York-based Swiss-born choreographer, visual artist, and dancer Andrea Haenggi is the Founder/Artistic Director of the dance company AMDaT. Haenggi creates thought-­provoking works that cross boundaries between art disciplines to find new possibilities of presentation in theaters and nontraditional sites. Her work has been presented and commissioned in many diverse venues, from Dance Theater Workshop to MASS MoCA to an abandoned Cigar Store in Lower Manhattan to the lobbies and public spaces of the World Financial Center in Downtown Manhattan.
