Charity Henson-Ballard

(Playwright) Charity Henson-Ballard is an actor and playwright in New York City. She received her MA in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and MFA in Acting from New York University. Her first full-length play, The Quiver of Children, was originally developed with the support of Voice & Vision Theater, and was presented through Voice and Vision’s 2009 reading showcase at the Ohio Theatre this spring. Charity is developing the next play in this cycle: The Deep Things of God. Charity is collaborating with the Women’s Project for Muddy the Waters, a fun and rhythmic dialogue about the socio-environmental politics of NYC.
