For over forty years, WP Theater’s mission has remained focused on serving Women+ artists, and never more so than this past year. Despite constant change and industry-wide uncertainty during the COVID-19 shutdown and subsequent New York PAUSE order, WP has proudly:

– Produced six incredible pieces of theater and a groundbreaking film and shared them with almost 4,000 audience members just like you at absolutely no cost
– Employed more than 140 artists during our ‘20 – ’21 season and 10 administrators who made it all happen behind the scenes
– Continued our dedication to new works and new artists with our ‘20 – ’22 WP Lab

Our #WPCommunity includes all of us: artists, donors, staff, audiences, local businesses, and more, and your support helps us continue the vital, resilient, and necessary work of Women+ artists.

WP Theater’s work was available virtually during 2020 and 2021, but we returned to our theater in July with our limited capacity presentation of MBB’s Many Happy Returns.
